Like most great ideas, that's how it happened. Bandals began with a simple idea, to create a footwear product that would change with the busy lifestyles of today's consumers. After six years of initial designs, bio-mechanicals, foot testing, focus groups and patent filings, Bandals was able to introduce the first truly integrated and interchangeable band sandal. We have worked tirelessly to create an interchangeable sandal that truly looks like a custom sandal. The secret is in our patented slide-through technology. Our bands seamlessly integrate with the base of the shoe. This allows the sandal to be quickly and easily changed simply by sliding the band through the mid-sole slot.
